AWPBC also has a goal of perpetuating the sport of hunting by involving the youth in all our activities. As we all know the youth of today will be our ’hunters’ of tomorrow.
Many of these youth want to enter and enjoy running their dogs in our hunt tests. In order to do this, we feel that each interested youth needs to know what is expected of them in the hunt test field.
Therefore, AWPBC is adding a new division to our club. ‘AW Pups’ will be a sub-division of AWPBC and will offer membership to any young person under the age of 16. If you do not have a dog, we can provide one for you to participate with in any event.
Also, any youth under the age of 16 may run their dog in any category (JH, SH or MH) for $25.00 per dog in any AKC event. (This does not include NSTRA trials)
